Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a procedure that reduces the length of the labia minora, the inner lips of the vulva. This is commonly performed to relieve symptoms of discomfort caused by having longer labia—it reduces the length of the labia, or even fixes labia minora symmetry- in cases where one labia is longer than the other.
What is labia majoraplasta?
Labia majoraplasty is a procedure that reduces the size of the hair-bearing labia majora, the outer lips of the vulva. This is commonly performed to relieve discomfort for patients who feel their labia majora are too large or too full.
What is monsplasty?
Monsplasty is a procedure that reduces the amount of fatty tissue and/or skin, depending on the cause of the bulge in the mons, the upper part of the hair-bearing part of the vulva.
What is recovery like?
Patients may have one or two weeks of downtime and intercourse should be avoided for six to eight weeks depending on the procedure. Dr. Campos-Leon will provide more details about aftercare following the procedure.
